Description
This model is a kitbash playaround from the Romulan D'deridex Warbird and the Norexan class to get a ship similar to the Aelahl class Battlecruiser as seen in "Star Trek Online".
The 756 meters long Aelahl Light Warbird Battlecruiser was created by the Romulan Republic to fill a need for a more agile battlecruiser. This starship is less durable than the mighty D'deridex, but significantly more maneuverable.
Following the standard avian-like design lineage of other Romulan vessels, the Aelahl class was one of the first new designs created by the Romulan Republic Shipyards. Conceived as a successor and eventual replacement for the older D'deridex Warbird Battle Cruisers in service with the Republic, the Aelahl's smaller size makes it slightly less durable than the D'deridex, but what she lacks in hull strength she makes up for in maneuverability.
