For History books, the battle of Darius Prime was just a footnote. Four romulan warships break throught the perimeter defense line of the Starfleet/Andorian jointventure outpost at Darius. On this place some starfleet ships were equipped with andorian phasers and shields. Most of the allied ships were not operational while the refit, but one of the NX class, a nameless ship only known by its registry, the NX-17, fight the romulans back to their territory.
With only half the systems functionally she destroyed two of the romulan attackers, but the Captain underestimated the agility of the Birds of Prey when the fight ends in a asteroidfield...
