Description
Here's my lifesize Prop of the M9 Tempest Sub Machine Gun from Mass Effect 3. Not the best, not the worst, a solid Weapon to make good damage if you like SMG's.
I made this prop completly from foam, because in the last years i have seen more and more conventions who not allowed weapon props from resin or wood because of "security matters" (which is totally bullshit, when you can buy metal swords inside the convention). So this is a lightweighted foam gun i made for my Mass Effect N7 Cosplay.
You can see here a couple pics of the process. Simply cutting out with a sharp cutter and bringing into form with sandpaper.
Its not super perfect, and had already some small dents (its still foam ) but good enough for my first foam work.
Happy N7Day! #N7Day #N7Day2016
Mass Effect is (c) by Bioware & EA

If there's one thing I'm glad about when it comes to ME:A is that they fixed the holding animation for the Tempest since they way they hold it in ME2&3 makes control for accuracy impossible.
That being said, this is a great looking prop.
