Mass Effect Armor Step by Step Overview

Once I've found here on Dev-Art many good Mass Effect costumes, I wanted to make one for myself...
In this picture you can witness the various stages of the construction process.

The material I used mainly EVA Floor Mats and insulating mats for camping. Cost factor is for the whole armor of around 50 Euros. I built with preparation pretty much 8 days off. The Phaeston gun in the last picture has again taken about 3 days.

what did you use for the "lights" on the back of the armor?

The mid part is a simply led flashlight. The two outer ones are worn out razors. Initially without light. Later (after this picture) I have yet light installed. They are off a little, so that I could fit underneath a small LED.
