Description
A horga'hn was a statuette that symbolized fertility on Planet Risa. It came in many sizes, from small carvings to statues to a hotel with a giant horga'hn built into it. It was believed that to own one was to call forth its powers. Displaying one publicly indicated that one was seeking jamaharon, a mysterious and pleasurable sexual practice native to that world.
I made this 30 cm high prop completely with gypsum. Formed a rough version with hand, than i bring it to form with saw, file, grater and sandpaper. Latest step was the coloring. I used three coats of different brownish colortones to reproduce a woodlike look.
Later i made some copies for my friend and made a mold form from my original.
