Defiance II class Data Sheetby ~Euderion

Three Years ago, i kitbashed in my fist days with 3D Max a small federation Gunship for the "Enterprise" Era.
Today, my skills with the 3D Programm are better, i decide to make this old mesh with my own abilities.

Thanks to Dev-Art User "Richmerk" [link] who gave this ship the Name Defiance as a early version of the Defiant.

The Defiance II class Gunboat was build in 2165 after the Romulan War. The losses was heavy and Starfleet compensate these for the first time with an cheap and easy to build starship, the Defiance class.

So, let me get this straight... A ship that's only Two decks and 50 meters shorter then the starship this was obviously based on (Defiant-Class), is supposed to support roughly the same amount of crew?

Where are they supposed to quarter, where's the room for support facilities like Med-bay, Galley, ect. No amount of hot-bunking can take care of a crew that size on a ship that small.

I'm asking these things because its supposed to be heavily armed, and those weapons take up room, something that is a scarce commodity on a ship-of-the-line escort (Thats what this is, BTW, Corvettes are larger vessels, but smaller then a frigate).

You need to rethink your design to accommodate your crew size, or lower the crew count.

They leave Starbase patrol for 12 -14
hours then tag team with another ship

Great design! If the story about the Romulans stealing Fed tech to build the border runner BoP as seen in Balance of Terror, I can see where they got the inspiration.
