Description
This is my second Version of the 29th Century Phaser seen in multiple Episodes of Star Trek Voyager. I built one years ago, but it was not my brilliant services. So i decide to make another (better) one.
My first version was made from resin, but after time i come to the conclusion, that resin isnt a good material if you wanted a Prop which you can use. Resin easily breaks when it falls to the ground, so i use for my future projects mostly wood. This Prop is simply made from two size different wood panels. The thicker one (2,5 cm diameter) for the handle, and a 1,5 cm diameter panel for the black part.
Cutting out with a jigsaw and processed with a file. Finally covered with filler to conceal irregularities and colored with car spray paints.

My goodness, this looks absolutely incredible!! Your attention to detail is nothing short of stunning in this! It's also a very good look into future federation tech!
